Athlon Sports revealed on Tuesday that eight players from the University of Maryland’s football team were included in the preseason All-Big Ten teams. Running back Roman Hemby, defensive lineman Jordan Phillips, and linebacker Donnell Brown received fourth-team recognition.
Last season, both Felton and Hyppolite were named to the All-Big Ten third team, with Wisloski receiving an honorable mention. Felton excelled in receiving touchdowns and yards, while Hyppolite showcased strong tackling skills. Wisloski achieved an impressive average of 23.8 yards per return along with one touchdown.
Prather was also granted an All-Big Ten honorable mention last season for his significant yards and touchdown contributions. Hemby boasted an active season with 13 game starts and notable rushing stats, while Phillips and Brown equally displayed their capabilities throughout all 13 games, accumulating tackles and sacks.
