Jordan Tillery, a 6-foot-5 wing from Team Loaded now playing under coach Jimmy Carr at IMG Academy’s post-grad team, is experiencing an uptick in recruitment for the Class of 2025. His top suitors are Saint Louis, Seton Hall, VCU, Western Kentucky, and Arkansas State, he shared with ZAGSBLOG. Tillery has an official visit planned for Saint Louis from September 3-5 and intends to check out Seton Hall as well.
“He’s an emerging talent who had a fantastic spring and summer,” said Carr, a former Division 1 assistant, to ZAGSBLOG. “He’s always been a winner, and with his growing skills, his recruitment is really taking off.”
Tillery elaborated on a few of his preferred schools:
Saint Louis: “Coach Josh Scherz appreciates my style of play, and I really like their approach, the location, and the conference. They seem like a strong program to consider.”
Seton Hall: “I appreciate that they took the time to understand me not just as a player but as a person too.”
VCU: “I’ve always been a fan of VCU and their style of play, plus the number of pros who have come from there.”
Arkansas State: “I have a great connection with Arkansas State. They’ve consistently supported me, reaching out and showing care, and I really like their staff.”
