Southern University football: First year head coach for the Jaguars, Terrence Graves gives honest admission on practice

**BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPOUD) — To combat the sweltering Louisiana temperatures, the Southern University football team has decided to schedule their fall camp practices for the evening.

Terrence Graves, the Jaguars’ new head coach, shared why he favors these night sessions.

“I’m all for it. I’d pick night practices over morning ones any day,” Graves said when discussing his preference for evening training.

“With a heat advisory affecting the entire country, it’s a wise decision to practice at night. It’s something I’ve done at previous coaching stops, and since our early games are at night, it’s important for the players to adjust to those conditions,” Graves added.
