Top Insights As Arkansas State Head Coach Butch Jones Makes Significant Visit To Touchdown Club

LITTLE ROCK (KAIT) – Arkansas State football is enjoying a bye week, drawing attention in the state capital as Coach Butch Jones attended the Little Rock Touchdown Club.

The Red Wolves have a record of 5-3 this season, following an exciting win against Troy, and are 3-1 in Sun Belt Conference play, putting them in a tie for second in the West Division.

Jones took a moment to reflect on his 100th career victory as a head coach.

“You invest in victory each week, and you have to earn the right to win. Humility is key every Saturday, so you can never take it for granted. There’s a lot that goes into it. Our players have been outstanding. Even some former players reached out; I got my first text from Mac Jones of all people. It’s great to share this accomplishment. But to me, we’re just getting started. 100 wins isn’t the end—I’m aiming for 200. I plan to keep doing this for a long time because I love what I do.”

Arkansas State will next face Louisiana on Saturday, November 9th.
