“UNC Football Celebrates Julius Peppers: A Tribute Before His CFB Hall of Fame Induction!”
One of the greatest to ever wear the Carolina Blue will be recognized this weekend at Kenan Stadium.
Before his induction into the National Football Foundation College Football Hall of Fame, the UNC football program will pay tribute to the legendary Julius Peppers.

The program announced that they will honor Peppers during their upcoming conference matchup against Pittsburgh in Chapel Hill on Saturday afternoon. His official induction into the College Football Hall of Fame will take place on December 14 in Las Vegas.
Before starting his NFL career, Peppers established himself as a formidable player for the UNC football program. He played for the Tar Heels from 1999 to 2001 and was a unanimous first-team All-American in 2001. He received the Chuck Bednarik Award for the nation’s top defensive player and the Rotary Lombardi Award, which was awarded at the time to the best interior lineman in the country. Over his college career, he recorded 177 tackles, 30.5 sacks, 53 tackles for loss, five interceptions, and five forced fumbles.
It has been an eventful year for Peppers, who was recently inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, becoming just the third UNC football player to receive this prestigious honor, highlighting the impact he made during his time on the field.
