Vanderbilt Commodores: Fans Explode with Massive Reactions Over Poor Rankings In the AP Top 25

Just a week earlier, the Vanderbilt Commodores shocked the Alabama Crimson Tide with a 40-35 victory at home. This Saturday, as they took on the Kentucky Wildcats away, there was much anticipation about how Vanderbilt would follow up that impressive performance.

The Commodores triumphed over the Wildcats on the road, finishing with a score of 20-13. With this win, Vanderbilt’s record improved to 4-2 for the college football season. There was much speculation about whether they would be included in the Top 25 rankings this week.

The Vanderbilt Commodores are not part of the Top 25 rankings this week.

The Vanderbilt Commodores are not included in this week’s AP Poll Top 25, which surprised many in the college football community. The SMU Mustangs hold the 21st spot, followed by the Illinois Fighting Illini at 22, Army at 23, Michigan Wolverines at 24, and Navy at 25.

Many fans expressed their disappointment that Michigan and Illinois remain ranked, while they were pleased to see Army and Navy in the Top 25. The Commodores will need to step up their game to break into the rankings.

Fans React!

Next Saturday night, Vanderbilt will host Ball State before facing the #1 Texas Longhorns at home the following week. Texas will be up against the Georgia Bulldogs at home next weekend. A couple of weeks ago, the Alabama Crimson Tide defeated Georgia at home but then fell to the Commodores on the road the following week. Texas should proceed with caution!

However, the Vanderbilt Commodores need to secure a victory over Ball State first before being considered a Top 25 team. If they can’t pull off that win, they likely don’t deserve to be ranked among the nation’s top teams.
