They return twenty starters—yes, twenty! All five offensive linemen are back, and quarterback Kyron Drones can really move the ball. Playing in Blacksburg during a big game is no easy task. I believe the ACC will make a significant impact this year.”

The number of returning players is crucial, as Virginia Tech boasts the highest count of returning offensive and defensive players in the ACC. Last season, the Hokies had a solid finish, ending with a 7-6 record and winning three of their last five games, including a Military Bowl victory against Tulane, 41-20.
