Virginia Tech football coach Brent Pry has had a strong recruiting performance for the Class of 2025, securing 14 commits, including two four-star players, with 10 from Virginia. As he enters his third year, Pry aims to continue making progress in recruiting within the Commonwealth for the Class of 2026 and beyond.
Currently, the Hokies have one commit for the Class of 2026: Nazareth, Pa. quarterback Peton Falzone, who committed on June 29. With many targets still available, Pry and his staff seem to be making a positive impression on several prospects.
Class of 2026 DT JaySean Richardson is a sought-after player
In-state recruit JaySean Richardson has been accumulating offers, currently holding 15. Among these is an offer from Virginia Tech, and he visited Blacksburg in April for a Spring Practice.
The 6-foot-0, 280-pound Richmond, Va. native is also attracting interest from ACC rivals Wake Forest and Virginia early in the recruiting cycle. This fall will be crucial for rising juniors, and Richardson plans to attend game day visits at Wake Forest, Virginia, and Virginia Tech.
