Badgers Land Top Recruit Mason Posa
Following their ascent to the top three, the Wisconsin Badgers have successfully landed linebacker Mason Posa, who declared his commitment in a public announcement at his high school.

Hailing from New Mexico, the individual had narrowed down his options to Oregon, Texas A&M, and Wisconsin before ultimately selecting the Badgers. A key target for Luke Fickell and his team, Posa is coming to Madison as the top recruit in New Mexico and the 18th best linebacker in the nation.
Earlier this month, Wisconsin hosted Posa for an official visit and put in significant effort to secure his commitment. Posa is now the 18th addition to the 2025 recruiting class, which is on track to become a top 10 ranked class nationally.
Posa joins Cooper Catalano, Brenden Anes, and Samuel Lateju as the linebackers in the 2025 class. As a four-star recruit, he stands out as the highest-rated member of Wisconsin’s 2025 recruiting class to date.
