Michigan Pushes for Rising LSU Target Tre Moore
The Michigan Wolverines are making a strong move in the recruitment of four-star wide receiver Tre Moore, who is set to visit Ann Arbor this week as his recruitment heats up.
Moore, a standout from Weiss High School in Pflugerville, Texas, has quickly become one of the state’s top receiving prospects, drawing interest from a long list of major programs. His offer sheet includes the LSU Tigers, Texas Longhorns, Miami Hurricanes, Texas A&M Aggies, and Oklahoma Sooners, among others.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound pass-catcher broke out as a sophomore in 2024, totaling 38 receptions for 562 yards and six touchdowns, showcasing both size and downfield speed.
Texas has already made a strong impression, with Moore praising the program following a recent visit and lining up an official trip to Austin later this year. Still, Michigan is now firmly in the mix with this week’s visit, while Lane Kiffin and the LSU staff continue to push hard as well.
Moore has spoken highly of Kiffin’s offensive approach, pointing to the creativity and detail of LSU’s scheme as a major draw. He is scheduled to visit Baton Rouge on April 1 and is also expected to take an official visit with the Tigers this summer.
As his recruitment continues to gain momentum, Moore is emerging as one of the top wide receivers in the 2027 class, with multiple powerhouse programs jockeying for position.
