After defeating Tatum and the Celtics in overtime last November, Edwards candidly shared his views on the 26-year-old star, according to Bleacher Report’s Doric Sam.
“You saw Tatum trying to get a switch; I locked him down twice,” Edwards told his teammates. “Tatum was talking smack, saying, ‘Yeah, I’m here,’ and I replied, ‘I’m coming again.’ Talking about ‘best player in the league’… y’all are tripping.”
