College Football Coach’s Enthusiastic Postgame Interview Goes Viral Following Victory Over Ranked Team.

On Friday night, the Sun Devils secured a significant victory against a ranked opponent.

The Arizona State Sun Devils, who were not ranked, hosted the No. 16 Utah Utes in a prime-time college football game at Mountain America Stadium on Friday night.

The Sun Devils emerged victorious in front of an enthusiastic home crowd, securing a 27-19 final score and improving their 2024 season record to 5-1.

Kenny Dillingham, the head coach of Arizona State, was understandably thrilled following his team’s victory over the nation’s 16th ranked team. During the excitement of fans rushing the field, the second-year ASU leader had a postgame interview with ESPN.

“This team continuously battles and never gives up,” Dillingham shouted above the noise of the crowd. That is the person you should be speaking with, not myself.

Dillingham stopped the interview to join some students who rushed onto the field to celebrate.

“We had a conflict, buddy. We took part in a competition. He went on to say that this is the essence of football. “We took part in the competition… We did the labor. Our children are concerned. We have children who are concerned. We do it on behalf of each other. “And they have love for one another.”

Dillingham then rejoined the crowd to participate in a mosh pit with the Arizona State students.

During his debut season as the head coach of Arizona State, Dillingham’s team, the Sun Devils, suffered a humiliating 55-3 loss to No. 18 Utah. This amazing victory was a great way to recover in Year 2.
