Treylon Burks, ex-Arkansas Wide Receiver, Will be Out For Multiple Weeks with Tennessee Titans.

Former Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks was put on injured reserve by the Tennessee Titans on Saturday afternoon. The ex-Razorback player and third-year NFL veteran experienced a non-contact injury during practice last week.

Due to this, Burks is anticipated to be out for the next 4 weeks for the Tennessee team following a sluggish beginning to his 3rd season in the NFL.

Burks was chosen in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft by the Titans, who dealt AJ Brown in the same draft. In essence, Burks was meant to take over Brown’s role in Tennessee.

That experiment also began quite nicely. Burks had a decent, although not outstanding, first season, catching 33 passes for 444 yards and scoring 1 touchdown. Up to now, Burks has only caught one touchdown pass in the NFL.

As you might have already assumed, Burks’ career has not turned out as expected since the first year. During his second year in college, he participated in 11 matches and only managed to accumulate 221 yards in receptions. Burks had accumulated 34 receiving yards this season before getting injured this week.

The Titans rank as one of the least successful teams in the NFL. Tennessee, with a 1-4 record this year, will play against Buffalo on Sunday at 1 p.m. E.T.
