Waco, Texas – With a 7-1 record this season, Findlay has bounced back with two consecutive victories. The team is still in the running for a conference title, contingent on some assistance, and is firmly in contention for a spot in the Super Region 1 Playoffs. As a result of their performance, the Oilers have re-entered the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) DII Coaches Poll.
Ranked 25th, they join #4 Kutztown, #9 Charleston, #14 Slippery Rock, and #19 California (Pa.) as the only teams from Super Region I featured in the rankings. Findlay is currently the sole team from the conference recognized in the poll.
With the Saints behind them, the Oilers are set to host Walsh on Saturday, Nov. 2, with kickoff scheduled for noon.
