INJURY UPDATE: Drew Allar Will be Playing Against Ohio State.

Quarterback Drew Allar’s condition was uncertain following a lower leg injury he sustained in the game against Wisconsin last Saturday. Even though he was spotted practicing earlier in the week, it was not confirmed whether he would participate in the upcoming game between No. 3 Penn State and No. 4 Ohio State.

Earlier today, Pete Nakos from On3 and other sources confirmed that Allar will be playing against the Buckeyes on Saturday. Reports have not been confirmed by either Penn State or James Franklin.

Allar has played a key role in Penn State’s offensive improvement this season. Allar has distributed the ball to various receivers, including tight end Tyler Warren, while completing more than 70 percent of his passes. He is also utilizing his running ability more than last season, ensuring that drives remain active instead of stalling. Perhaps his top performance of the season occurred during a 14-point comeback victory against USC earlier in the season.

If there are any changes in Allar’s condition, we will ensure to provide you with updates.
