While this isn’t a massive distinction, it’s notable that Baseball Savant estimates he could have accrued 229 career home runs in Cincinnati compared to his actual total of 195. It’s a theoretical scenario worth considering, especially since the Reds could benefit from a strong middle-of-the-lineup bat to complement their talented shortstop, Elly De La Cruz.
