Things to watch: “Massive News” Colorado State Football Fans Roll In More Tantalizing News to Cheer About

It’s an exciting time to be a fan of Colorado State football, with noticeably more enthusiasm at games compared to previous years. Have you had a chance to visit Canvas Stadium this season? Many games have been full to capacity.

There have been three sold-out home games this year, including the Rocky Mountain Showdown, which drew a record crowd of 40,099 fans in Fort Collins.

The hard work and determination of the coaching staff and players are starting to pay off, as the Colorado State Rams are officially headed to a bowl game.

Colorado State Football Secures Bowl Game

Last Saturday’s game was particularly important for many reasons. Head Coach Jay Norvell, who joined Colorado State from the Nevada Wolf Pack after the 2021 season, achieved a significant victory by defeating his former team on their home field.

The victory also secures a bowl game berth for the Colorado State Rams for the first time since their loss to Marshall in the New Mexico Bowl in 2017. Their last bowl win was in 2013, also at the New Mexico Bowl.

This will mark the Rams’ 18th appearance in a bowl game.
