Top News: College Football Fans Massive Reaction To Matt Zollers Huge Comments On Commitments
The Missouri Tigers are having a solid college football season, currently holding a 6-2 record and ranking 25th in the nation. One of their key recruits for next year is quarterback Matt Zollers, who attended the game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Penn State Nittany Lions on Saturday.
As a native of Pennsylvania, he witnessed the Nittany Lions suffer a 20-13 loss to the Buckeyes. While some speculated that Zollers might transfer from Missouri to Penn State, that isn’t going to happen.
Missouri Tigers commit Matt Zollers is committed to remaining with the program.
Zollers spoke with Chad Simmons from on3sports.com about his long-term commitment to Missouri. The 5-star recruit stated,
“My commitment to Missouri is solid because of my strong relationships with all the coaches there.”
He is dedicated to remaining with the Missouri Tigers and has no intention of playing for his home state team, the Penn State Nittany Lions. Zollers reaffirmed his position by clarifying that he attended the game solely as a spectator, without any plans to reconsider his decision.
College Football Fans Respond
“I was told he was flipping,” tweeted thoggypoo on November 3, 2024.
“I wouldn’t play for Franklin either,” responded CJ Bussy on the same day.
“Did you really think he was considering PENN STATE? 😂😂😂😂” joked NBA MizzouBoy.
Many college football fans have criticized Penn State Nittany Lions head coach James Franklin. Matt Zollers choosing to stay with the Missouri Tigers is beneficial, as Missouri needs to maintain consistency in the SEC Conference. The team has made significant progress over the past couple of seasons and will need talent to remain competitive in that challenging conference.
