Wisconsin Badgers football Schedule Official Visit With 4-Star CB Raheem Floyd
Wisconsin’s list of spring visitors continues to expand, and the Badgers have secured an official visit from one of the top defensive backs in the 2027 class.
Four-star cornerback Raheem “Heem” Floyd announced he will travel to Madison for an official visit from May 28–31. The Badgers are one of only two programs currently scheduled to host him officially, alongside the Indiana Hoosiers football, who will welcome him in April.
Wisconsin Positioned Well Early
Wisconsin was quick to identify Floyd’s potential, becoming just the third school to offer him back in April 2025. Since then, his recruitment has taken off, with eight additional Big Ten programs and six SEC schools extending offers.
The East St. Louis (Ill.) standout is widely regarded as a four-star prospect and ranks as the No. 18 cornerback nationally, according to 247Sports. As a sophomore, Floyd recorded five interceptions, 48 solo tackles, 14 pass breakups, and a defensive touchdown, showcasing his playmaking ability.
His rising profile earned him an invitation to the Under Armour Next All-America Game, further solidifying his status among the elite prospects in his class.
Coaching Transition, Continued Momentum
Floyd has already made multiple unofficial trips to Wisconsin, most recently in July. He was initially recruited by former cornerbacks coach Paul Haynes, who now oversees the entire secondary. Newly hired corners coach Robert Steeples has since taken over as Floyd’s primary recruiter.
Despite the staff adjustment, Wisconsin appears to remain a strong contender. Last summer, Floyd indicated a tentative top group that included Indiana, Arizona State, Wisconsin, Ole Miss, and Illinois, while noting his list could evolve.
For now, the Badgers have stayed firmly in the mix and will aim to turn Floyd’s official visit into a commitment as his recruitment progresses.
