Steelers Officially Add Former Cowboys OL Brock Hoffman
The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially signed former Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Brock Hoffman. After initial reports that Hoffman had agreed to terms early in the legal tampering period, the deal is now finalized.
Steelers reporter Mark Kaboly confirmed that Hoffman has agreed to a one-year contract for the 2026 season. At 6-foot-4 and 302 pounds, the 26-year-old lineman is expected to bolster Pittsburgh’s interior line depth. Hoffman spent four seasons with Dallas after entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia Tech in 2022.
Earlier, Hoffman had denied that he had signed with the Steelers, but with Dallas officially declining to tender him as a restricted free agent and contract details settled, he is now set to join Pittsburgh.
Hoffman initially signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2022 before joining the Cowboys’ practice squad under Mike McCarthy in November of that year. Over the next four seasons, he played in 54 games, starting 16, and primarily played center last season with 419 snaps, along with 55 snaps at left guard, according to Pro Football Focus.
