Grizzlies Re-Sign Tyler Burton and DeJon Jarreau to Second 10-Day Contracts
The Memphis Grizzlies have announced the signing of forward Tyler Burton and guard DeJon Jarreau to second 10-day contracts. The terms of the deals were not disclosed, in line with team policy.
Burton (6-7, 215) has appeared in six games for Memphis, averaging 8.8 points and 4.3 rebounds in 25.4 minutes since joining the team on his first 10-day contract on March 12. The 26-year-old, who went undrafted in the 2024 NBA Draft after his senior season at Villanova, also played 29 games for the Grizzlies’ G League affiliate, the Memphis Hustle, where he averaged 20.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.3 steals in 34.1 minutes.
Jarreau (6-5, 185) has played five games off the bench for the Grizzlies, posting averages of 6.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in 21.3 minutes since signing his first 10-day contract on March 13. The 28-year-old, in his third NBA season after going undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft out of Houston, also appeared in 19 games (seven starts) for the Hustle, where he averaged 15.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in 22.7 minutes.
