Kalen DeBoer Gives Massive Alabama Update

Alabama Football Recruiting: 5-Star QB Elijah Haven Leads Star-Studded A-Day Visitor List

Coach Kalen DeBoer and the Alabama Crimson Tide are preparing for one of the biggest recruiting weekends of the spring as A-Day draws elite prospects to Tuscaloosa.

According to On3’s Sam Spiegelman, Alabama has already welcomed dozens of blue-chip recruits this spring, and the momentum is only growing as the annual spring game approaches. Multiple top targets across positions—including five-star quarterbacks, standout skill players, and future defensive stars—are expected on campus.

5-Star QB Elijah Haven Close to Decision

The top name to watch is Elijah Haven, the nation’s No. 1 quarterback prospect. Haven is finishing his final recruiting visits, which included stops at Auburn and Georgia, before returning to Alabama for A-Day—his fourth visit to Tuscaloosa since last October.

With a decision expected by the end of April, Alabama appears to be in a strong position. “My family and I think so highly of the program… I feel like they didn’t miss a beat,” Haven said.

Alabama Making Moves for Elite OL Ismael Camara

Alabama is also impressing one of the country’s top interior offensive linemen, Ismael Camara. He has maintained consistent contact with Alabama offensive line coach Adrian Klemm and plans to return to Tuscaloosa before the end of April. Camara praised the program, saying, “Alabama and contender go together like peanut butter and jelly… ‘The Standard’ starts in Tuscaloosa.”

RB Trey Martin Excited About Alabama

At running back, Alabama is leading the recruitment of Trey Martin, one of the nation’s top prospects. Martin has visited other SEC schools this spring, including LSU, Ole Miss, and Florida, but continues to favor Alabama. “Everything excites me about ‘Bama… it’s a winning program,” Martin said. Alabama is seen as the front-runner heading into the official visit season, though LSU remains a threat as his home-state school.

Alabama Targeting WR Benny Easter Jr.

Even recruits already committed elsewhere are not off-limits. Alabama is actively pursuing four-star wide receiver Benny Easter Jr., currently committed to Texas Tech. Easter is expected to visit Tuscaloosa later this month and again for an official visit in June. Alabama is competing with Ohio State and LSU for his commitment, and wide receivers coach Derrick Nix’s persistent communication is making an impact. “They’re making me a priority… all the talks have helped me get closer,” Easter said.

A-Day Could Shift Recruiting Momentum

Many other top prospects are scheduled to visit Alabama in the coming weeks, but A-Day could be pivotal for the class of 2027. With a potential commitment from Elijah Haven, strong positioning for Trey Martin, and opportunities to flip recruits like Benny Easter Jr., the Crimson Tide is building serious momentum under DeBoer’s leadership. The excitement surrounding the weekend suggests Alabama could secure significant recruiting wins.
