Arkansas Pursues 2027 QB Prospect Brodie Campbell
The Arkansas Razorbacks continue to build recruiting momentum, offering Newnan, Georgia quarterback Brodie Campbell over the weekend. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound passer now holds 24 offers following his visit to Fayetteville, where he toured facilities and attended spring practice.
Campbell described the visit as “a dream come true,” highlighting meetings with head coach Ryan Silverfield, offensive coordinator Tim Cramsey, and QB coach Mitch Stewart. Arkansas offered him after reviewing film and testing his skills during the visit, placing the Razorbacks high on his list of potential schools.
Rated a three-star by two major recruiting services, Campbell is ranked No. 491 overall, No. 30 among quarterbacks, and No. 59 among athletes in Georgia according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Boston College, Georgia Tech, Rutgers, Iowa State, Cincinnati, Wake Forest, Memphis, USF, Temple, Troy, UAB, and others.
Campbell’s recruitment has been fueled by both his baseball and football skills. On the gridiron, he set a Newnan High School record with 516 passing yards and four touchdowns in his season opener and finished his junior year completing 194-of-297 passes for 2,609 yards, 25 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, helping the Cougars to an 8-3 record.
Scouting Report
Campbell demonstrates poise in the pocket while remaining mobile to extend plays. He excels on short to intermediate routes, processes reads quickly, and delivers accurate passes across the field. His arm strength allows him to make throws from sideline to sideline, and he can effectively stretch defenses on back-shoulder fades and fly routes.
Razorbacks’ 2027 QB Picture
Arkansas has yet to secure a quarterback commitment in the 2027 class but currently has six athletes committed, including Odaefe Oruru. Head coach Silverfield and staff have already offered several high-level QB prospects, including Colton Nussmeier and Malachi Ziegler.
The Razorbacks’ quarterback room is among the youngest in the SEC, led by KJ Jackson and AJ Hill competing for the starting spot, with Braeden Fuller as the only upperclassman. Adding Campbell or another top prospect is critical to maintain depth and momentum in recruiting while securing the future of the program’s signal-caller position.
