Bowman is rated as a four-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite rankings and is listed as the No. 56 overall player nationally, the No. 9 wide receiver, and the No. 3 prospect in the state of Tennessee. He plays at Brentwood Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Bowman initially committed to the Vols on March 28, 2026, and has remained actively involved with the program since then, making several return visits to Knoxville, including an official visit on June 5.
Bowman chose Tennessee over a final list that included Alabama, Miami, Ohio State, and Vanderbilt. His main recruiter at UT was wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator Kelsey Pope.
247Sports director of scouting Andrew Ivins described him as a long, wiry outside receiver with the speed, length, and technical ability to consistently win on the perimeter at the college level. Ivins noted that Bowman projects as a multi-year contributor at a top Tennessee high school program and has consistently stood out on the camp circuit. He also highlighted Bowman’s advanced release techniques, his ability to manipulate defenders with leverage, and his quick change-of-direction skills that allow him to accelerate and decelerate effectively.
Bowman remains the headlining commitment in Tennessee’s 2027 recruiting class. The Vols currently have 16 pledges, placing their class at No. 37 nationally according to 247Sports.
