Maryland Football Recruiting Scoop: More Commitments on the Way for Terps

Maryland’s football recruiting efforts have been gaining momentum, with several projected commitments coming to fruition recently. The coaching staff is working hard to finalize commitments from top prospects and secure standout players for the team.

One notable development is the anticipated commitment of Manvel, Texas quarterback Jackson Hamilton. While no decision has been made yet, Maryland has made a Crystal Ball projection in his recruitment. The Terps have also secured commitments from several other key recruits, including:

  • Travares Daniels II, a linebacker from Florida
  • Lamar Williams, an offensive tackle from Florida
  • Sean Savoy, a cornerback from Washington, D.C.
  • Gage Shaffer, a quarterback from West Virginia
  • Marcus Lewis, a consensus four-star cornerback
  • Isaiah Davis, an outside linebacker from Washington, D.C.

These additions strengthen Maryland’s roster across various positions, including linebacker, offensive line, cornerback, and quarterback. The coaching staff is actively engaging with Florida prospects and local four-star recruits during official visit weekends to further bolster the team’s recruiting efforts.

With more commitments expected in the coming days, Maryland is poised to have another impressive recruiting haul. As the 2024-25 College Football season approaches, the Terps will look to capitalize on their recruiting success and make a strong showing in the Big Ten.
