The Tennessee Volunteers have been excelling on the recruiting trail recently. They secured commitments from 4-star wide receiver Travis Smith Jr. and 4-star linebacker Christian Gass in the past few weeks. Now, the Vols are eyeing another top prospect, 4-star safety LaGonza Hayward, who is set to announce his college decision on Saturday, July 27th.
At the moment, the Vols seem to be the frontrunners for Hayward, competing with South Carolina and Georgia. As Volunteer fans eagerly await Hayward’s announcement, several current commits have hinted at a potential “surprise commitment” before the 27th, possibly from Hayward.
