Reports: Highly Conflicting As The 2025 Recruiting Class For Michigan Football Is About To Intensify

Andrew Babalola is expected to decide soon and Michigan football is pushing to land the five-star offensive tackle.

The 2025 recruiting class for Michigan football is about to intensify, along with the rest of college football, as the dead period ends for the last weekend in July.

For the Wolverines, this means the return of the Michigan football recruiting BBQ, with key visitors expected on campus, including top-100 wideouts Jerome Myles and Andrew Marsh from the 2025 class.

Michigan appears to have a strong chance to secure commitments from both. However, they also need to be wary of Phillip Wright, a three-star wideout from Louisiana who committed to the Wolverines recently on July 13th. LSU made a late push and might host Wright for a visit this weekend, which could be concerning.

Besides Marsh and Myles, Jayden Sanders and five-star offensive tackle Andrew Babalola are also top names remaining on the board for the 2025 class. Expert projections show Michigan leading for Marsh and Sanders.

Stanford is currently leading for Babalola, according to the On3 prediction machine, but Steve Wiltfong of On3.com notes that Michigan is making his decision difficult.

Although Stanford has struggled in recent years, the program is improving. However, it’s hard to imagine them becoming a national title contender in the ACC, which is an unusual fit. While Stanford’s academics are a strong selling point, Michigan can also present a compelling case in that area. Additionally, the Wolverines boast more offensive linemen on NFL rosters than any other college football team.
