UCF football schedule 2024: UCF is looking to make some noise in an expanded Big 12

The 2024 college football season is just around the corner, and UCF aims to make an impact in the newly expanded Big 12.

This isn’t some wild twist from EA Sports’ College Football 25 with altered conferences. The Knights joined the Big 12 in 2023 alongside Cincinnati, BYU, and Houston, while the 2024 season will see Texas and Oklahoma depart, welcoming Colorado, Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah.

Last season, UCF finished 6-7 and lost to Georgia Tech in the Gasparilla Bowl. Star running back RJ Harvey will return, along with preseason All-Big 12 wide receiver Kobe Hudson. Quarterback John Rhys Plumlee will be replaced by KJ Jefferson, a transfer from Arkansas who has been named the Big 12 preseason newcomer of the year.

UCF’s 2024 schedule includes all four teams making their Big 12 debut, starting with a home game against Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes in September. The following week, the Knights will travel to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators.
