According to Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer, the Charlotte Hornets will sign Raequan Battle
Raequan Battle had an impressive season in college basketball with West Virginia.
He averaged 16.1 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game, shooting 40.8% from the field and 33.8% from beyond the arc over 22 games.
On Thursday, Rod Boone from The Charlotte Observer announced that Battle will be signing an Exhibit 10 contract with the Charlotte Hornets.

Battle played college basketball for five seasons at Washington, Montana State, and West Virginia.
Throughout his career, he averaged 11.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game, with shooting percentages of 42.5% from the field and 31.9% from three-point range across 126 games.

Battle participated in the NBA Summer League with the Hornets.
He averaged 5.2 points per game while shooting 42.3% from the field and 35.3% from three-point range over six games.
Given that his contract is an Exhibit 10, it’s highly probable that Battle may play in the G League next season.

The Hornets ended last season as the 13th seed in the Eastern Conference, holding a record of 21-61.
This marks the eighth consecutive season they have missed the NBA playoffs.
However, the team boasts an exciting roster with young talent, including 2022 NBA All-Star LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller.
