FCS Football Top 25 Week 2 Results: How The Ranked Team Did

Week 2 of the 2024 FCS season brought several exciting top 25 matchups and a few surprising upsets.

Top-ranked South Dakota State decisively defeated No. 12 Incarnate Word. In contrast, No. 4 Montana State was narrowly beaten by No. 20 North Dakota in a closely contested game.

Following a competitive game against Top 10 FBS team Oregon the previous week, Idaho secured a win over FBS opponent Wyoming, maintaining their strong start to the season.

No. 15 Richmond was defeated by Wofford in their inaugural regular-season meeting. Meanwhile, No. 16 Furman lost to unranked Charleston Southern, and No. 17 Western Carolina fell to Campbell.

Week 2 featured intense competition and highlighted significant talent throughout the FCS.
