Titans Sign Former Steelers WR
A former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver is heading to a new AFC team for the upcoming season.
According to FOX Sports’ Jordan Schultz, the Tennessee Titans have signed Van Jefferson to a one-year contract worth up to $2.5 million.
In his single season with the Steelers, Jefferson started 12 of the 17 games he played, recording 24 receptions for 276 yards and two touchdowns.
He followed offensive coordinator Arthur Smith to Pittsburgh, who had been Jefferson’s head coach with the Atlanta Falcons in 2023.

Jefferson began his college career at Ole Miss, where he played alongside DK Metcalf, and finished at Florida before being selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams.
During his time with the Rams, Jefferson helped the team win Super Bowl LVI over the Cincinnati Bengals in the 2021 season. He finished his tenure in Los Angeles with 1,499 yards, 101 receptions, and 10 touchdowns in 49 games.
In October 2023, Jefferson was traded to Atlanta, where he recorded 12 catches on 28 targets for 101 yards in 12 games, five of which were starts.
