Breaking: Big Orange Adds Another Blockbuster Commitment

Tennessee Volunteers football continue building toward their 2027 recruiting class.

Three-star defensive back Carter Jamison has committed to Tennessee, per Chad Simmons of On3.

The 5-foot-10, 180-pound prospect hails from Fairburn, Georgia, where he plays at Creekside High School. The school has also produced former Vol standouts Eric Berry, Evan Berry, and Elliott Berry.

According to 247Sports, Jamison is ranked as the No. 101 safety nationally and the No. 115 overall prospect in the state of Georgia.

Tennessee was the first program to extend him an offer on Feb. 17. He later made an unofficial visit for a spring practice on April 2 and is scheduled to return for an official visit on June 19.

Other programs that have extended scholarship offers to Carter Jamison include South Florida Bulls football, Charlotte 49ers football, UNLV Rebels football, Western Michigan Broncos football, Liberty Flames football, Colorado State Rams football, Eastern Kentucky Colonels football, and East Carolina Pirates football.

Tennessee’s 2027 class now features six additional commitments alongside Jamison: JP Peace, Princeton Uwaifo, Kadin Fife, Derrick Baker, Jaden Butler, and KeSean Bowman.
