Oklahoma added another quarterback offer on Monday, expanding its early focus on the Class of 2028.
Brady Quinn, a 6-foot-1, 195-pound quarterback from Hollywood, Florida, announced late Monday that he had received an offer from the Sooners after speaking with coach Kuz. Quinn, who shared the news on social media, becomes the second 2028 quarterback to pick up an OU offer in the same day, and the third overall in the class.
Before Monday, Oklahoma had extended just one offer to a 2028 quarterback group. With the additions of Quinn and fellow prospect Trey Tagliaferri, that total has now doubled.
Quinn is rated as a three-star recruit by both 247Sports and Rivals. According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, he sits No. 398 overall nationally and No. 29 among quarterbacks in his class.
The rising junior has already played varsity football at two different high schools. As a freshman at First Baptist Academy in Naples, he appeared in 12 games and threw for 2,549 yards with 33 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He transferred to Lely High School for his sophomore season, where he improved on those numbers, completing 60.4% of his passes for 2,960 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
Quinn will continue his high school career at Chaminade-Madonna, where he plans to spend his final two seasons.
He has also been active on the recruiting trail, taking unofficial visits to programs such as Clemson, Notre Dame, Alabama, Florida, Miami, and SMU, among others. During the fall, he attended game-day visits at schools including LSU, Syracuse, Indiana, Miami, and Florida. His offer list already includes programs like Nebraska, Missouri, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and UCF.
Earlier in the day, Oklahoma also offered Trey Tagliaferri, a 4-star quarterback from Bergen Catholic High School in New Jersey. Tagliaferri passed for 2,215 yards and 19 touchdowns as a sophomore while throwing just three interceptions.
The two new offers mark Oklahoma’s first activity with 2028 quarterbacks since May 2025, when it extended an offer to Graham Simpson, another highly rated four-star prospect and the younger brother of former Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson.
Oklahoma has not yet secured a commitment from the 2028 class. The program did briefly land a top-ranked running back in Micah Rhodes earlier in the cycle, though he later decommitted.
The Sooners are set to open their 2026 season on September 5 against UTEP.
