USC Trojans Linked to Two Five-Star Receiver Recruits
The USC Trojans are showing strong interest in two top wide receiver prospects from the 2028 class: Jett Harrison and Braylon Clark. Here’s a closer look at each player.
Jett Harrison – Player Profile
Jett Harrison, a 6-foot-1, 175-pound wideout from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is a five-star recruit and ranked No. 2 at his position in the 2028 class according to 247Sports Composite. USC extended an offer to Harrison in March 2026, and he could visit the program this summer. According to Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong, Harrison may also take visits to Alabama and USC, in addition to Miami, Oregon, and Ohio State.
Braylon Clark – Player Profile
Braylon Clark, a 6-foot-2, 188-pound receiver from Charlotte, North Carolina, is also a five-star prospect and ranks as the No. 4 wide receiver in the class of 2028 per 247Sports Composite. USC is among the programs that have made a strong impression on Clark. He told Rivals that Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Alabama, UCLA, South Carolina, Miami, USC, and Florida are the schools that have stood out to him so far. During his sophomore season at Charlotte Country Day School in 2025–26, Clark recorded 65 catches for 1,093 yards and 12 touchdowns across 10 games.
USC’s Track Record with Wide Receivers
The Trojans have established themselves as a premier program for developing wide receivers. Recent standout Makai Lemon, part of USC’s 2023 recruiting class under coach Lincoln Riley, steadily improved each season and finished 2025 ranked top 10 nationally in receptions (79), receiving yards (1,156), and touchdowns (11). He won the 2025 Fred Biletnikoff Award, the first USC player to do so since Marqise Lee in 2012, and was drafted No. 20 overall by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2026.
Another key receiver, Ja’Kobi Lane, also made an impact, being selected No. 80 overall by the Baltimore Ravens in the same draft. Additionally, USC has produced NFL talents like Amon-Ra St. Brown, Drake London, Michael Pittman Jr., and Jordan Addison, all considered among the league’s top wideouts.
USC’s history demonstrates that highly rated wide receiver recruits often flourish at the program. The question now is whether Harrison and Clark will continue that trend in the future.
