Georgia Lands Former Penn State Commit Jamir Dean in 2027 Recruiting Class
The Georgia Bulldogs have strengthened their 2027 recruiting class by securing a commitment from highly regarded wide receiver Jamir Dean, who recently decommitted from Penn State.
Georgia continues to gain traction on the recruiting trail, adding another talented prospect to an already impressive class. Dean, a four-star recruit from Alcoa, Tennessee, announced his decision to join head coach Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs after previously pledging to the Nittany Lions.
According to recruiting evaluations, Dean stands nearly 6-foot-2 and weighs around 175 pounds. Beyond his success on the football field, he is also an accomplished track athlete and has surpassed 1,000 career points as a high school basketball player, highlighting his overall athletic ability.

Dean brings the type of speed, athleticism, and playmaking potential that top programs seek at the wide receiver position.
