Tennessee has already begun building relationships with prospects in its 2028 recruiting class, extending a scholarship offer to offensive lineman Liam Pagan.
Pagan announced the news following a strong performance at a Tennessee camp, sharing that he had received an offer from offensive line coach Glen Elarbee and head coach Josh Heupel.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound tackle attends Willowbrook High School in Villa Park, Illinois. As a member of the 2028 class, he has not yet received a recruiting ranking from 247Sports.
Tennessee joins a growing list of programs pursuing Pagan. He also holds offers from Miami, Oklahoma State, Boston College, Arizona State, and Florida Atlantic. In addition to football, Pagan is a multi-sport athlete who competes in basketball and track and field.
The Volunteers have not yet secured a commitment in their 2028 recruiting class, but Pagan is among the early prospects drawing interest from the coaching staff.
Tennessee’s 2027 recruiting class currently features 15 verbal commitments. The group includes linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackles Princeton Uwaifo and Q’Mari Hudson, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman, tight end Malik Howard, defensive linemen Kadin Fife, Christian Mays, and Kenneth Simon II, defensive backs Carter Jamison and Brandon Leavell, cornerback Dylan Haley, kicker Ford Fehling, and long snapper Sam McKeown. The class continues to take shape as the Volunteers build for the future under Josh Heupel.
