Phillies Trade for Kameron Misner, Designate Steward Berroa for Assignment

The Philadelphia Phillies have acquired outfielder Kameron Misner from the Kansas City Royals in exchange for cash considerations, the club announced.

Following the trade, Misner was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, where he will provide additional outfield depth for the organization.

To make room for Misner on the 40-man roster, the Phillies designated outfielder Steward Berroa for assignment. The move gives Philadelphia flexibility as it continues to manage its roster heading into the remainder of the season.
