NBA Legend Charles Barkley Was Spot On About the Oklahoma City Thunder
Charles Barkley had predicted that the Oklahoma City Thunder would claim the NBA Championship, and he was right. On Sunday night, the Thunder defeated the Indiana Pacers 103-91 at home to secure the 2025 NBA Finals title.
The Thunder had one of the most dominant seasons in NBA history.

Barkley, a Basketball Hall of Famer, had been a strong supporter of the Thunder throughout the season. He firmly believed they would take home the title.
Barkley (on The Dan Patrick Show, June 2): “I think the Pacers can make it competitive, but I’ve been saying for months that no team can beat the Thunder four times in a week. The Pacers are a good team, but the Thunder might be the deepest team I’ve ever seen. That depth will really neutralize the Pacers’ bench, which played a key role in their win over the Knicks.”
Finishing with the top record in the Western Conference at 68-14, the Thunder were the league’s best team all year.
