Kansas Lands Radford Transfer Dennis Parker Jr.
Radford transfer guard Dennis Parker Jr. has committed to Kansas, he confirmed to On3.
The 6-foot-6 junior had a standout season at Radford, averaging 18.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, shooting 48.4% from the field and nearly 38% from three-point range. Parker had a remarkable 53-point game against Coppin State, hitting 10 three-pointers—marking the highest single-game scoring performance by a Division I player since 2019. He also scored 20 or more points in 11 games this season.
Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, Parker began his collegiate career at NC State, averaging 4.7 points as a freshman and 2.9 points as a sophomore before transferring to Radford, where he emerged as a leading scorer.
Parker will finish his college career in Lawrence under Bill Self, becoming Kansas’ fourth transfer addition alongside Utah forward Keanu Dawes, Charleston center Christian Reeves, and Toledo guard Leroy Blyden Jr.
In addition to transfers, Kansas is bringing in a highly ranked high school class, led by No. 1 overall recruit Tyran Stokes. Other signees include four-star point guard Tay Kinney (No. 20 nationally), four-star power forward Davion Adkins (No. 59), four-star small forward Trent Perry (No. 98), four-star shooting guard Luke Barnett (No. 119), and unranked center Grant Mordini.
