Big News for the Iowa Hawkeyes

Caitlin Clark is giving her fans exactly what they’ve been asking for with a new Iowa-inspired Caitlin 1 colorway.

The latest version of Clark’s signature shoe is likely to be a popular release, particularly among devoted Hawkeye fans. The design draws heavily from Iowa’s traditional black-and-gold color scheme, with a black Nike Swoosh layered with a gold Swoosh for added contrast.

Clark’s signature CC logo appears on the right shoe, while the left shoe features a new pin graphic. According to Sole Retriever, the design is meant to represent Clark’s ability to knock down shots from virtually anywhere on the court.

As with other Caitlin 1 releases, the Iowa-themed version includes molded “22” and “CC” details throughout the upper, along with Clark’s signature displayed on the heels.

Clark made history during her time at Iowa, becoming the NCAA Division I women’s all-time leading scorer. The 6-foot guard also guided the Hawkeyes to back-to-back national championship game appearances in 2023 and 2024 before being selected No. 1 overall by the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA Draft.

Clark has continued to elevate her game with the Indiana Fever and is now a three-time WNBA All-Star. Through 29 games this season, she is averaging a career-high 21.7 points per game while shooting 44.3% from the field, 36.1% from beyond the 3-point line, and 85.6% at the free-throw line.
