Mississippi State added former West Virginia defensive lineman Eddie Kelly from the transfer portal on Tuesday evening, with CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz first reporting the move.
Kelly appeared in 12 games for the Mountaineers last season, including four starts. He finished the year with 26 total tackles, seven solo stops, one pass deflection and half a sack.
The defensive lineman has plenty of experience at the college level, having previously spent time at South Florida, Georgia Tech and Missouri before joining West Virginia.
