Flyers Secure Second Transfer Portal Commitment
The Dayton Flyers have added their second transfer portal commitment in as many days, welcoming former Cincinnati standout Jalen Haynes.
Haynes, a 6-foot-8, 250-pound forward from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, played his final prep season at Montverde Academy. He missed much of the past season at Cincinnati due to knee surgery, receiving a medical redshirt in October.
This addition follows the Flyers’ earlier commitment of guard Travis Perry from Ole Miss. Dayton is actively rebuilding its 2026–27 roster, prioritizing a veteran point guard and pursuing four-star recruits to strengthen the team.
