THE FLATS – Georgia Tech Athletics announced Friday that Matt Amos has joined the Yellow Jackets as senior associate athletics director for external operations and chief marketing officer.
The department also announced that Reggie McIntyre has been promoted to executive associate athletics director for revenue generation and chief revenue officer, while Christina Clausen has moved into the role of associate athletics director for development operations.
Georgia Tech vice president and director of athletics Ryan Alpert emphasized that improving the fan experience, increasing revenue and strengthening fundraising efforts remain key priorities as the Yellow Jackets continue building toward sustained championship-level success.
Alpert said the experience and expertise that Amos, McIntyre and Clausen bring to their respective positions will be valuable as Georgia Tech works to provide exceptional experiences for both its student-athletes and fans.

Amos joins Georgia Tech after spending the past five years at Auburn, most recently working as the Tigers’ assistant athletic director for fan experience. He oversaw Auburn football’s gameday atmosphere and played a key role in helping the program reach new attendance and revenue milestones. Ticket revenue increased by 11 percent between the 2022 and 2023 seasons, while Auburn football also recorded a program-best streak of 22 straight sellouts during his tenure.
His responsibilities at Auburn extended beyond football, as he also worked closely with the men’s basketball, baseball and gymnastics programs. Amos helped maintain an 85-game sellout streak at Neville Arena for men’s basketball, which also generated the highest revenue in program history during the 2024-25 season. He was additionally involved in planning and executing major events, including SEC Championships and Final Fours.
Auburn’s baseball program also enjoyed significant gains during Amos’ time on the Plains. The Tigers set a program record for season-ticket sales in 2023 and generated more than $500,000 in baseball revenue. The gymnastics program similarly reached new heights, selling out its season tickets and every meet in 2021 while increasing overall ticket revenue by 60 percent. Auburn women’s basketball also established a new non-conference single-game attendance record with just under 6,000 fans.
Amos originally joined Auburn in 2021 as an assistant director of marketing and fan experience. He was promoted to director of fan experience in 2023 before taking on his most recent role in 2025.
Before arriving at Auburn, Amos worked at Ohio State as the assistant director of athletics marketing and fan experience during the 2019-20 period. He earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from James Madison University in 2017 before completing a master’s degree in sports administration at Eastern Michigan University in 2019.
Amos expressed excitement about joining Georgia Tech and becoming part of a program with a strong tradition and ambitious plans for the future. He said he looks forward to collaborating with the Yellow Jackets’ staff to create exceptional experiences for fans and student-athletes, while finding innovative ways to strengthen fan engagement and improve the gameday atmosphere.
He also thanked Georgia Tech athletics leaders Ryan Alpert and Brent Jones for giving him the opportunity to join the program, adding that he is eager to get started on The Flats.

McIntyre has been part of the Georgia Tech athletics department since 2023 and stepped into the role of executive associate athletics director and chief revenue officer in July 2026. In his new position, he will be responsible for directing the department’s overall revenue strategy and overseeing areas such as ticket sales and operations, data analytics, corporate partnerships, multimedia rights, third-party events, business development and outside entertainment events, including concerts and other major productions.
Working across Georgia Tech Athletics, McIntyre will focus on creating sustainable revenue opportunities, improving the fan experience and developing innovative business initiatives that can contribute to the department’s long-term success.
Before his promotion, McIntyre served as Georgia Tech’s assistant athletics director for marketing and fan experience, helping lead one of the strongest periods of growth in the department’s history. During the 2025-26 academic year, the Yellow Jackets established new department revenue records and exceeded their target by hosting 57 sellout events across various sports and special events.
Georgia Tech also achieved a notable ACC milestone during the 2025-26 season, becoming the conference’s only program to average at least 85% venue capacity in football, volleyball, baseball and softball.

Clausen has been part of the Georgia Tech athletics department since 2019 and was promoted to associate athletics director for development operations in July 2026. In her new position, she will manage the department’s day-to-day development operations, oversee the implementation and maintenance of software systems, coordinate events and strengthen collaboration with campus departments and external partners, particularly the Georgia Tech Alumni Association and Georgia Tech Foundation.
Over more than seven years with Georgia Tech, Clausen has held several positions spanning ticket operations and fundraising. She joined the Alexander-Tharpe Fund in 2021 and most recently served as director of annual giving.
In that role, Clausen played a major part in growing the Athletic Scholarship Fund, Georgia Tech Athletics’ annual fundraising initiative, from approximately $2 million per year to $6 million. Her work centered on developing creative fundraising strategies that encouraged greater donor participation and helped significantly expand the program’s annual revenue.

Additionally, Bailey White has been promoted to assistant athletics director for marketing and fan experience. In her new position, she will oversee Georgia Tech’s marketing and fan experience operations while serving as the primary marketing and fan experience contact for Yellow Jackets football. White will lead the planning and execution of football marketing campaigns, promotions, fan engagement efforts and gameday initiatives, while also providing leadership and direction throughout the department. She joined Georgia Tech in March 2023 as director of marketing and fan experience.
