Former Kansas Forward Bryson Tiller Transfers to Missouri
Bryson Tiller, a former Kansas forward, has announced his commitment to Missouri through the NCAA transfer portal after spending last season as a redshirt freshman with the Jayhawks.
Tiller was a key contributor at Kansas, starting in 31 of his 32 appearances. He averaged 7.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks per game while logging just under 26 minutes per contest. The 6-foot-11 big man shot 44.9% from the field and 26.9% from three-point range.
Before college, Tiller played at Overtime Elite in Georgia, where he was rated a four-star recruit. He ranked No. 76 overall and No. 11 among power forwards in the 2024 class, according to Rivals. He will have three years of eligibility remaining at Missouri.
At the time of his transfer decision, Tiller was listed as the No. 10 power forward in On3’s 2026 transfer portal rankings.
Missouri is looking to reload its roster after losing several key contributors, including Anthony Robinson II, who averaged 8.9 points per game last season.
The Tigers finished the 2025–26 campaign with a 20–13 overall record and went 10–8 in conference play. They earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament but were eliminated in the first round by Miami.
Following the season, head coach Dennis Gates expressed mixed emotions—acknowledging the challenges his team overcame, particularly with injuries, while also emphasizing his ultimate goal of winning a national championship. Despite the early tournament exit, he defended his players and maintained that they fell short of their goal but did not fail.
The NCAA transfer portal opened on April 7 and will close on April 21 under the new 15-day window established by the men’s basketball oversight committee. Players are not required to commit to a new school before the deadline.
