Georgia Lands Four-Star Offensive Tackle Commitment

Four-Star Offensive Tackle Miller Westerfield Commits to Georgia

Georgia added another highly regarded prospect to its 2027 recruiting class on Thursday, securing a commitment from four-star offensive tackle Miller Westerfield.

The Roswell, Georgia, standout announced his decision after choosing the Bulldogs over several major programs, including Tennessee, LSU, and Georgia Tech.

Westerfield is ranked as the No. 395 overall prospect in the 2027 class, the No. 31 offensive tackle nationally, and the No. 47 player in Georgia, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.

The 6-foot-5, 285-pound lineman becomes one of the latest blue-chip additions for head coach Kirby Smart and his staff after taking an official visit to Athens in mid-June.

Earlier this spring, Westerfield explained that growing up in Roswell made Georgia a program he had always followed closely.

He noted that the Bulldogs’ back-to-back national championships were a constant topic of conversation in his hometown and said visiting Athens reinforced the strong connection he felt with the program and its fan base.

Westerfield’s commitment gives Georgia 18 pledges in its 2027 recruiting class as the Bulldogs continue assembling one of the nation’s strongest groups. According to the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, Georgia’s class currently ranks among the top 20 nationally.
