Trade speculation surrounding Detroit Red Wings captain Dylan Larkin continues to gain momentum as the NHL offseason unfolds, with the New Jersey Devils and Tampa Bay Lightning emerging as two of the teams most frequently linked to the veteran center. Although the Red Wings have not indicated that a deal is imminent, reports suggest Larkin’s future in Detroit has become a major storyline heading into the 2026-27 season.
Larkin, who signed an eight-year, $69.6 million contract with the Red Wings, has been the face of the franchise for several seasons. A dynamic two-way center with leadership experience and consistent offensive production, he would immediately become one of the most sought-after players if Detroit decides to make him available.
