The Charlotte Hornets made another addition to their roster last week, signing former Presbyterian guard Kobe Stewart to an Exhibit 10 contract. The agreement is non-guaranteed, but it gives Charlotte the ability to retain Stewart’s G League rights if he does not earn a spot on the NBA roster, which appears to be the most likely scenario.
Stewart spent the summer playing for the Milwaukee Bucks in Summer League and appeared in 34 G League games last season between the Wisconsin Herd and Memphis Hustle. Across those appearances, he averaged 9.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 0.8 steals in 21.2 minutes per game. He also played in three of Milwaukee’s five Summer League games, finishing with 10 points across 31 minutes.
During his senior season at Presbyterian in 2024-25, Stewart was a key contributor for the Blue Hose. He averaged 15.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 steals per game while adding 0.3 blocks.
